Dongle

Has anyone used a dongle here in Torrevieja? Our friends in the UK use one and say it is great. If you buy one in the uk will it work over here? Or do they sell them here?

In the UK I use a dongle from `3`. I enquired at the shop before I returned and they said it was possible to use it in Europe. However it has to work to the Spanish networks and the costs would be prohibitive.
I believe you can get a dongle from the networks here in Spain but they would cost more than the £50 or so from `3`. The tariffs vary depending on which you use, probably ORANGE is the cheapest but I dont think they come any where near the £10 a month I paid in the UK.

I asked at our local 3 store on Saturday and they told me a dongle bought in uk wouldn't work in Spain because they have no network

dont use an english dongle in spain it will cost you a fortune

I agree with cheekyu - don't use an English dongle, we used our Orange one in October and it was VERY expensive.
