Where is good and what is on in the Torrevieja area? Can you recommend anywhere for a lively night? This will be my first New Years Eve in Spain since buying my house 4 months ago.

Horatios and the Chinese restaurant next door both have meals and entertainment and are fairlly cheap in Las Mimosas. If you can get to Villamartin theres loads of choice there but tends to be very expensive. Then there is the main Playa Flamenca commercial centre. If you just want a drink with a bit of entertainment The Landsdowne on the bottom floor is as good as it gets

My faviurite restaurant in that centre is Chevaliers also on the bottom floor

The thing is you need to book early if you want a meal. no good turning up the day before to make a reservstion

Puccinis at Punta Prima is €85 a head and it's nearly booked up!!

Up market Harold ! You've moved to Playa Flamenca not Nice or Cannes. If you just want to pay a lot of money I'm sure you can find somewhere in Vilamartin Plaza who will relieve you of 150 euros a head

Maybe you'd like Christopher's on Mar Azul, we are returning there after really enjoying last New Years Eve there. You can put a small deposit down - we put 10 euro each and the total cost is 50 euro each - tel no is 965710007 mobile is 600012824. Excellent meal and a very nice crowd of people.

This year it is a Chinese theme but you don't have to dress up.
