Foreigners office Alicante

Does anybody know what time you need to arrive at the foreigners office in Alicante in the morning to make sure you get attended to?

We got picked up from La Florida about 4 in the morning, by someone who helped us through the whole process, even helped us queue up so that we could take turns each before it opened at 9am. Queuing for 4 hours in December wasn't pleasant, take warm clothing.
