Friend, I do not wish to seem unpleasant nor to put you off in your venture, but times here are very harsh indeed. There are already really good window cleaners here who provide a host of other services, water filter fitting, TV aerials etc etc. What you propose to do will not be an easy venture for you. proceed with caution and do not expect it to be at all easy. Also remember, the self employed stamp here which opens up your access to health care is not at all cheap - relevant if you have youngsters. Further, the credit crunch, complicated further by the collapse of the pound to record lows is really hitting this area as I have never seen before. Good luck to you and yours.
