Read in another forum a brief statement to the effect that Digital+ will soon be showing TV programs primarily for Brits in Spain.

Don't have any more details at this stage so please don't ask me any questions.

already showing english programs but no bbc, itv and more

i think it is a spanish tv channel aimed at english speaking spaniards.....it is taking programmes from bbc world cnn etc - and putting them all on one channels -
i understand it will not have any major bbc / uk programmes but you never know...

More (not much!) on D+ English tv+ service

Sogecable's Digital+'s English TV+ is not a channel as Rapid TV News published several days ago but an offering of different English content the operator has launched to address Spain's English speaking viewers.

English TV+ contains the most demanded content by English speaking people living in Spain. Among them are BBC World, Sky News, CNBC, CNN International, Fox News and Al Jazeera English. The service will be an almalgamation of the programming of the channels already exisiting on the Digital+ service.
