Azuretel - 250 free installs and equipment

I have been hearing snippets about this outfit for the last month or more. Has signed up with them yet?
Their Service is starting at €45 a month for phone, internet and legal TV.
Anyone know more?
I want to know when I can get it installed.

I wouldn't touch them.
Can you imagine the problems you will have when your internet/tv goes wrong?
The blame will go on Telefonica and you won't get it sorted.
Unfortunately, the only safe choice for us is Telefonica; I've been with them 6 years without any major problems. Minor problems are quickly fixed and, most importantly, the buck stops there.

Thanks for the input. However, I am after more information about Azuretel and not Telefonica. You can't get telly from them and I am really looking at a one size fits all answer, kind of like Sky in the UK.

Hi Question Azuretel - Internet & TV

Hi myself and My Husband have signed up for the test system for this Azuretel service. I had it installed yesterday.

I'm a little bit of a novice at the Internet. I have a new system installed by Azuretel (I'm a test user). I've got Telephone and Internet and TV. I haven’t paid for the install and the TV seems good. Internet is OK. Can anyone tell me how I have two telephone numbers on the same line and will it cause me any issues?

I like the internet part as I can use it on my TV direct for my Email but can I connect my home computer to the system?

I was told there were other test users on the system as well.

Also can anyone give me an idea where to buy a cheap laptop with wireless and Windows XP english please. I dont want to buy it from carefor ?

Is the internet and phone VOIP if so that may be why you have 2 numbers I could do with seeing my emails on the TV would save wearing glasses

You can buy from Curry's online and get it delivered unless you want a spanish keyboard one of the pc guys on here may know more

Azuretel

Hi I am testing for azuretel. they have only a few tests in beta. I came in contact with there operations Director in the UK. His name is James Lord. I beleive they are a large group of companies who are operating in several countries. they have started work in Spain. and are due to start the internet and Telephone service rollout just after easter. The system also includes Television as well. at present i have 24 channels all free to air. the service however requires you to have the whole package but the TV is not operated over the internet. The internet is supplied by SES astra and also Jazztel (I get phones calls weekly and have to give technicians performance updates). I cant really comment to much but to say my TV is good and the internet I get approx 2MB speed and Telephone is good. I have just a small panel recepter on my roof and it is about 30 cm square. apparantly good reception. I'm hoping they can speed the download on the internet to a faster speed later this year.

Channels I get are BBC1, BBC2, BBC3, ITV1, ITV2, ITV3, ITV4, Ch4, Five, BBC News, Cbeebies, CBBC, Film 24, E4, Setanta Sports News, few others as well.

Intersting I have had a new channel added which comes up on the TV systems as Azure Sport One and it has just football games at the moment that seem to show on evenings (not my thing !!). Apparantly this is where they are clever and get the sport and films from streaming in the USA. When I spoke to the Azuretel technician last week who turned up and setup the extra channel he told me that this is why they have been secretive about the whole project as they have managed to get an agreement for the stream system for football and Rugby and other sport events.

Where as other companies apparrantly steel or pirate TV and films they are entering into an arrangemnt for access via the internet for TV channels. He also told me that the system will only support up to 20,000 users

Apprantly all users will be given the kit and install free as standard.

Telephone number I use is as follows 965999201 I normally speak to Sarah or Dave who always seem to ask me lots of questions.

these guys are legitamate and do have full company registration and are regualted by the spanish inland revenue. When I agreed to do this I had to also agree to have my details passed the spanish inland revenue.

Note - There support staff all work for them they do not have independent contractors or installers which i like because on the odd occassion i have had an issue they have sent a technician to my house in Los balcones to fix it usually same day or next day.
