The next evening of professional boxing to be held in Torrevieja, will be Friday 20th May, and I will pass more information nearer the date.
The aims of the Club de Boxeo Torrevieja, are to bring top quality boxers to this area on a regular basis and to make the sport available to all nationalities. At the recent fight night, when two English boxers were brought over, there was a dramatic increase of Brits and Irish support (up from 20 or so, to a figure in the region of 700) and this was brought about by a number of initiatives.
The boxing club of Torrevieja has again asked for our support and I am therfore seeking volunteers who may be able to give up just a couple of hours of their time in offering assistance. As an example this could include placing posters at suitable locations at local bars and supermarkets, or if someone wishes to become more involved by volunteering to become a member of the commitee. No matter how large or small the assitance offered every little bit helps.
Please contact me for more information.
Thanks
Dave
