Just a warning to anyone thinking of renting property in the Torrevieja area.
There is a person by the name of Jenny Lees who rents out property and seems is becoming notorious for not returning the deposit.
I rented from her a property in Enrico Caruso, Jardin de Mar XII and paid a 500 euro deposit. One of the neigbours commented to me "you will never see that again". It seems she is notorious for finding silly things wrong as a reason
for not returning the deposit. The day I left I couldn't believe she said the oven was filthy. Well in all honesty it had been overlooked, but is that really reason to withold a deposit.
In the past she has advertised in the local free papers Property for rent section, torrevieja to find tenants.
No doubt she will in the future, so watch out for her, she is a rogue.
