How can Gordon Brown and his Labour Party denounce bankers for awarding themselves bonuses because they have been bailed out with taxpayers money saying ' no rewards for failure' when MP's have been awarding themselves expenses out of taxes for years. Jacqui Smith is just the latest!
She has a salary in excess of GBP 140,000 and claims (fiddles!) expenses of GBP 150,000. What on earth she ever does to justify 290,000 pounds is anyones guess.
I daresay if MP´s got bonuses for failure most of them would be multi-millionaires by now.
