Ever got a Spanish Driving Licence from an office in Torrevieja (excluding gestorias etc).

I think it is only possible to get your 1st one from Traffico in Alicante and renewals via the Correos

You have to go to Alicante Trafico and queue for hours on end for UK driving licence being exchanged for a Spanish one. We got someone from the other site to do the Renewal as did not get the renewal notice in the post. Saved us loads of time and hassle.

OK thank as - I was asking for a friend who was convinced that he could do it in Torre and I was wondering if it had changed.

Since posting I asked a Policia Local who was busy booking cars parked on our new yellow line the Town Hall will be rich soon, and he said No - Alicante or Orihuela but I am not convinced about Oriheula either and it is not on the DGT website.

I was lucky got my renewal notice through the post (living in the centre is great - letters 3-4 times a week) and I renewed it at the Correos. Took weeks to arrive but we all know patience is a virtue here.
