TWO Burnham property tycoons are promising to change someone's life by raffling off an entire holiday complex.

Property developers Wayne Crowsley and Dave Davies both hail from Berrow Road before they emigrated to sunnier climes in the Costa Del Sol, Spain.

The duo have spent the past three years toiling away transforming an old Spanish Cortijo into a stunning seaside holiday complex worth a cool 1.5million euros.

Having finally completed their project, they put the resort on the market but despite generating a great deal of interest could not find a buyer in the current financial climate.

Hearing their guests saying they would love to buy the complex if they won the lottery, Wayne and Dave were inspired to do just that.

Wayne said: “We had heard of other house raffles back home and we hadn't thought about until we started chatting with the guests.

“It is a very exciting project and we are 100% confident the raffle ticket sales will generate enough money to fetch the apartment's market value.

“We have sold nearly 2,000 tickets already but we know there is still a long way to go.”

For 25euros a ticket, the winner will be set up for life with a four-bedroom home in the beautiful Analucian countryside as well as seven self-catering holiday apartments.

Surely this is all too good to be true?

Wayne added: “We realise people will automatically think this is a scam but it is completely genuine and in fact it has been difficult for us as the complex has been a labour of love but we need to sell up now.” [/B]
The pair plan to head back to chillier climes of Burnham after finding the homesickness too much to bear and missing their families.

“We both love Burnham and miss it so much”, Wayne said. “There aren't many places that are full of nice people and Burnham is one of those places so we plan on coming back.”

ive bought my tickets and can recommend others to do the same, like someone pointed out you have to be in it to win it!! IT IS NOT A SCAM!

i found the cortijo last year on the internet when i was looking for a holiday and wanted a short break in andalucia, i was pleasantly surprised and returned 4 times during the year!

Wayne & Dave have worked hard and the results are amazing, during my stay prospective buyers visited but no actual offers were made, they are really looking to move on now the project has finished, quite honestly the cortijo has a WOW factor!

i have never met the guys before the holidays and found them to be very genuine in their actions and i wish them luck in the raffle, hoping of course that i have the golden ticket!!

if you are interested take a break and see for yourself, you wont be disappointed!

Had a read a their website today. I have decided I will buy a ticket. Even if I decide I want to use it for a weekend away I can put the cost of the ticket towards the cost of my stay.
