Remote Control Handset

Can someone tell me where I can purchase a remote control handset for a Solaris Top Box as the one we have is on it's way out.
I phoned Solaris, and they told me I could have a replacement, but it will cost me €39 which I feel is rather expensive.
I have been with Solaris for 4 years and they recently upgraded the system with a new top box (89€) but didn't give me a new RC handset

What about trying one of those that is supposed to control anything/everything - sometimes sell them in Aldi or Lidl for around 10€. I think Carrefore have them as well..

I purchased one from Carrefour yesterday, but unfortunatley it didn't work.
Took it back to Carrefour today and they me my money back.
Looks like forking out €39

Funny how often that seems to happen with carry4 - mind you getting your money back is a major achievement!

Thanks Gallows but when I enter the serial number of my handset it doesn't recognize it.
Looks like forking out €39 for a replacement from Solaris
