  • Spanish roundabouts

If, as I understand it, the Spanish are taught to go all the way around a roundabout in the outside lane (the inside lane on the carriageway) then what the hell is the inside lane for (the outside lane on the carriageway).
Having just nearly broadsided some moron who cut across in front of me, (I was going straight on at the time in the outside lane) I'd be pleased to know what the Spanish Highway Code (if there is such a thing!) says about roadcraft on roundabouts.

The Spanish haven't had roundabouts for very long. So most road users have never been taught how to use them.

The Spanish Highway code is one of the most comprehensive in Europe...I kid you not! you are right you should stay in the outside lane, the Spanish call the other lane the danger lane, if they hit you it is their fault, not much help I know
