Advice From Ex pats

Hi
Now you may find me naive, or think "here goes another" but in your experiences, what are the employment chances like in the area.
I'm quite highly qualified (unfortunately it's in engineering) but can turn my hand to a many things. I have several business ideas, but would need some income to start with whilst we get them up and running.
Are there jobs generally available for Brits with a limited amount of Spanish, or would we be down to bar work etc (not that theres anything wrong with bar work) Some friends of ours are hoping to set up a property management service, but isn't that at saturation level?

Also, are there such things as trainees or apprenticeships in the area for haidressing? (No, not or me - my daughter) or would she be better going through the system here prior to moving.

Well, you can always open a pie shop!

Drop me a line off-group or give me a call and we can talk this through. Sure there are colleges etc BUT she would need to speak and write Spanish.
