Hi, my builders used the wipe clean paint (with stippled effect)on the inside walls of my house and this past year I have noticed that some areas have become very dry, so much so that if you touched it it would go to dust. On the other extreme there are some areas where the paint has 'slipped' It now looks awful. I have had airbricks put into the worst affected areas but wonder if anyone has any ideas how to repair the damaged areas and what would be the best type of paint to use to recreate this stippled effect as I've heard people talk about plastic paint and waterproof paint etc.......any ideas greatly appreciated.......

Condensation

We had the same problem with the paint coming off. It was caused by damp and we only got it on the back of the house where it caught the weather the most. The paint stippling affect is put on by builders with a spray type machine and is very difficult to reproduce.
