Just a quick question! We came to Spain 18 months ago with our British car and used it here legally for 6 months. We then decided to reregister it to Spanish plates, so sent off section 11 of our log book to the DVLA - stating that the car had been permanently exported. The day before it was due in for its export ITV, the gear box went, and was going to cost us 2,800 Euros for a new one (didnt have that much money of course!!), so the car has been off the road for the last year, unusable, and still on British plates( we bought a little Spanish car instead!!). We have recently had a recon gearbox put in (Javea transmissions - brilliant place!!) and the car is running again. We have decided though that we would like to sell it, but what problems would there be for the new owner, who wants to take it back to the U.K, because it is on the DVLA's records as been exported?
Any advice appreciated ( have tried to get hold of the DVLA several times, unsucessfully!)
