Could anybody telll me the cost of a taxi ride from Alicante Airport to Torrevieja (just near Carrefour) for 2 people

can't give you an exact amount but I recall it is about e50 to los altos which is not that far further on.

I posted a similar question recently & got estimates of 50-60 euros - not exactly cheap!

Hi,
40-50 euros is the going rate ,if your flight is after 7pm then it could go a bit higher .
There is a shuttle service but for two it works out dearer than the taxi,s.
There is also a bus to Torrevieja but you have to go into Alicante bus station from the airport first.I can not comment on this because I have not tried it. If you need a reliable taxi I can recommend ;

The buses are fine and very cheap but it will take you longer. Airport to Alicante buses hourly. Alicante to Torrevieja mostly two hourly. So you might have to hang around a bit. Plus it could be a pain if you have a lot of luggage.
