Car Hire - Murcia Airport

This is my first post !

Just found this very interesting website whilst trying to find suitable car hire from Murcia Airport in August 2009. Booked with Solmar through Economy Car Hire last year and they were very good. However there are six of us travelling and I am the designated driver with a tightish budget looking for an mpv to take us from the airport and on trips comfortably with our luggage.
I foiund about about Victoria Car Hire through this site and they seem to have the cheapest prices but I have never heard of them before. They seem ok but can anybody share their experience, good or bad ?
I have also been advised to arrange my own insurance to cover the windscreen and tyres etc as this can often be cheaper. Any comments ?

Many of my friends have used Victoria without any problems - they are quite a big outfit in actual fact.

Thanks Rob1305 that's good to know. They are very cheap, approx 200 euros cheaper than other quotes in some cases !

wow good result - perhaps because they have lower overheads they dont seem to advertise much and the Morris Minor will be great!! (only joking)

By the way I also had a look at a couple oi companies (insurance4carhire.com and questor insurance co) that offer annual European Excess Cover and can get cover for approx £20 less than Victoria's excess policy and has better cover. Good result all round I think !

ive hired dozens of cars over the years and never known victoria car hire to be cheaper, check the fuel supplement over the term of your hire, ( full / empty return ) over a 4 day period could cost you €50 of un-used fuel

We have used Victoria Car Hire a few times from Alicante Airport they fine and cheaper than most of the others Do not know anything about insurance as we used theirs

Wow, I just checked terms regarding insurance. There are excesses on the comprehensive insurance which can only be prevented by paying various amounts so check link out

I use Victoria Cars all the time, they are very handy, just outside airport, never have queues, good prices and will do half full for E25 if requested.
