The following announcement has been circulated by Stefan Pokroppa via email.
"The denuncia brought by CLARO against the Orihuela Town Hall has been rejected and archived by the public prosecutor at Orihuela in April.
The denuncia by CLARO criticized the alleged differences between the numbers of European Union citizens on the municipal padron and those on the actual electoral roll, the matter first being raised at the Election Board.
The case was heard in Court number 6 in Orihuela to determine whether a penal infraction took place. The Ayuntamiento presented a number of reports outlining the activities they had undertaken since 2003 to identify and correct any deficiencies within the system. Because of the complexity of these problems, the process could not be concluded until November last year.
In his judgement, the public prosecutor stated that ‘the malfunctions had been corrected’ and the case was archived."

CLARO, unusual for them, seem to be keeping this quiet. There is no mention of this on their website by the way of a press release!
