Alicante to Playa Flamenca

Hi, I'm going on holiday to Playa Flamenca with my family at the end of June. I'm trying to find out if it's possible to get from Alicante airport by public transport as the cheapest taxi quote I've managed to get so far is 120euros return. Can anyone helpe me out please? Thanks.

That is a fair taxi price for a return journey would it not be as cheap to hire a car,
anyway not what you posted about so have a look on http://www.alsa.es I don't think they do a direct bus but you may be able to get a couple if you get one to say El Altet then the Alicante-Cartagena bus, the single fare from Alicante to Torrevieja is around 7.40 euros. Thanks. I actually misquoted the price it was 140 euros. I'm thinking that by the time we've paid for busfares from the Airport to Alicante, then bus on from Torreveija for 6 -then we have to get from there to Playa Flamenca - we won't be saving much and it will take a long time. Pity there's no bus direct from the Airport to run along the coastline. Thanks for your help.
