Spain to Africa

We are staying in Torrevieja for a couple of weeks in October. We would like to visit Africa, does anyone know of any tours / Companies that do a quick visit to Africa, or any information on flights to Africa or would you not recommend it? thanks

You can also get a ferry from Alicante to Oran (Algeria) but it's not cheap and i've no idea now long the trip takes.
