  • Jelly Fish!!

Was just reading a story about the Portuguese jelly fish in full force down near Alicante.

Has anyone had any problems with your local beaches? Has anyone been to Tarbarca recently? Any problems there with them?

I'm heading down there next month so just wondering what to expect.

    Thanks.

I know they are not fish for starters, but don't worry about them, you're heading down anyway, so if you get stung, just piddle in your bucket and put that all over the stung area, soothes it a treat.

The Portuguese Man o' War (Physalia physalis), also known as the blue bubble, blue bottle, man-of-war, or the Portuguese man of war, is a jelly-like, marine invertebrate of the family Physaliidae, order Siphonophora, class Hydrozoa, and phylum Cnidaria.

They are commonly thought of & referred to as a jellyfish

              I rest my case!

I too am confused by the replies to a simple question.

I believe a report said that 100 people had been stung, 4 in Orihuela Costa area so not a lot to worry about when you consider the number of people in the water.

instead of getting your knickers in a twist, try not to resort in asking questions in riddle format, you'll get riddle format answers

For my own peace of mind because I'm obviously missing something, where is the riddle?
