HI,

I am coming out to torrevieja area in couple weeks time, as an early retiree with a form 106 from the UK. Could someone please tell me where I would go with the form to register under the Spanish National Health system?

I will be living at Calle De La Garza (near Horatios bar) and a mile or so from Via Park II.

I would be grateful if someone could reply as soon as possible.

The E106 entiltes you to 2 free years health care here in Spain, but you should ensure all your family members are included on the 106, or have their own E106.
The process is a very simple one and involves travelling to 2 separate offices in Orihuela, (about a 30 minute drive).
Do not employ anyone to do the work for you because you will be wasting your money. I have taken friends and neighbours of mine on numerous occasions and they have been amazed as to how easy the process is, even if you speak no Spanish.
When you arrive in Spain it will be essential you sign on at the town hall for your area, and you will be provided copies of the certificate of padron. You will need this when you attend Orihuela.
The area around Villa Park 3 is the boundary between Torrevieja town hall and Oriheula Costa town hall, so you will need to esablish which one applies to you, because once you are entered into the system at Oriheula the allocation of a Dr will be carried out at a different location.
