How do I legalise my swimming pool?

[PaddyW]

My swimming pool was not on my escitura and I have been told that I will have to sort this out before I can sell the property. Does anyone know the process and what is involved in legalising and existing swimming pool.

Do I need a licence from the Town Hall - any idea how much this costs?
Do I need to use a solicitor and notary for the legislation?

Grateful for any help givem.
