can anyone clue me up on this.

is there something like the UK Sale of Goods Act whereby you are entitled to a refund if goods are faulty? is this something which is easy to enforce or am I barking up a very wrong tree?

also do shops adopt the policy of taking back goods if you change your mind like most of the UK shops do?

    Consumer laws

There are consumer rights laws emposed by the EU but unless you are Spanish you won't find many companies prepared to adhere to them. As usual the English always follow these laws to the letter but the Spanish make a national sport of avoiding them! Carrafour is a classic. If you take anything back after 28 days they don't want to know.
