Cheap "gaff" for this weekend (Fri/Sat/Sun)?

Hi everyone.

The two of us are visiting the area this weekend and (thanks to bloomin' expensive bank holiday flights) we need somewhere nice AND cheap to stay.

Does anyone know of a friendly family house or a small hotel that does B&B at a fab rate?

We don't mind helping out with the dishes!!

Genuinely, it's a serious enquiry. We were out last weekend, but it's difficult to look at other properties when you're herded round by an estate agent rep.

Hence our independant visit this weekend.

B&B is a concept that is not really known by the Spanish. Your best bet is probably one of the cheaper hotels. I have known the Torrejoven do doubles for 18 euros (I think) in winter. Most Spanish hotels are a fraction of their British equivalent. I often stay at the 4* Albir Playa where with my travel agent discount I can get a double for single at just 48 euros!
