I am going to be moving to Orihuela in Sepember this year and will be needing work asap. Does anyone know if there is usually lots of vaccancies and what the pay is p/h for a typical bar/waitress job?

If you are going to Orihuela itself you will find it extremely difficult to find any work unless you speak fluent Spanish. I rather suspect that you will be going to Orihuela Costa. It's the wrong time of year but just walk around all the (hundreds of) bars and eventually you should find something. Pay 4\5 euros per hour. Good Luck
