Down loading music from cd to mp3

The OH was given an MP3 player for her early morning walkabouts! (1 GB)

It has a number of 'tracks' on it as samples - but of little interest to her.

Copied some Queen tracks from one of their CDs to the MP3 and also the Windows Media Player software.

I can 'see' the tracks listed - Queen tracks and samples + the WM software - BUT cannot hear the Queen tracks. Others are ok

PLEASE - where am I going wrong?

some mp3 players will only play MP3 files,
some mp3 player will also play some other format like windoze media files.

so maybe you have copied them to the mp3 player in the incorrect format.

if you "rip" the files from the CD using media player, you can select the format to output the files to - make sure this is MP3 and not any other
