Internet / Wi-Fi / Hotspots

I am visiting for 3 weeks in August, bring the computer with me to stay in touch for work , can anybody help me out with info regarding, either internet cafes or hotspots in/around town.

Last time I was in Spain it was pre-broadband so an update would great.

We used to have a property in Orihuela Costa and I took my laptop out with me each time I went. I just got a "pay as you go" disc from the Telefonica shop in Torrevieja and plugged it into our phone line (which you will need of course). This registers you and you just use when you are out there. Before we had the telephone line I used to use the internet cafe in the GSM phone shop in the complex opposite the Calypso Bar/ Global Car Centre/Hong Kong Restaraunt at La Regia. There is another one near Paddy's Bar and a couple at Villa Martin Plaza but they are all over the place now and have actually become cheaper over the last couple of years.
