  • Any place in the area where I can buy Jellybush honey?

I have trouble with a wound that will not heal properly. I heard (on TV) that Jellybush honey should be a product holding properties to solve such problems. As we will go to Spain in mid June, my questions are:
Is it possible to buy Jellybush honey in Torrevieja/surroundings?
If yes, where can I buy it, and approx. what does it cost?
Does anyone have any experience with this product, and for that purpose?

I have no idea what jelly bush honey is, however I know that at most street markets you will find a stall selling honey. From memory they usually have a selection and not just local produce.

I also vaguely remember seeing a health food store in Torrevieja town maybe someone will be able to pinpoint it for you.

The bees collect the nectar from a special flower in Australia and/or New Zealand. It is available by mailorder from UK but they don't sendt outside EU! If it is available in Spain I could buy it there.

I used Active Manuka Honey from New Zealand for a wound that was taking a long time to heal.

              It worked for me.

Any honey is both healing and antiseptic. There are some nice honeys in the markets. I usually opt for the Romero where the bees have fed on rosemary flowers - excellent for sore throats.
