  • Peanut Bar

    Hi All

Does anyone out there know of a place called the Peanut Bar I have been told it is in or near San Miguel. They say it is a must but know one seems to know where it is. Can anyone help please.

I know it's in San Miguel, but not sure where. My neighbour reckons its great - it's not licensed, so you buy the nuts, olives, etc, and he throws the drink in for free!!!

The Nut House is well worth a visit!

Its in San Miguel de Salinas and anyone will be able to point you towards it.

Only serves bottled beer (large Mahou) no draft, or wine and spirits.

the owner is a gem and treats each customer as a long lost friend.

          Free nuts and crisps

          best day Sunday

          enjoy!!!

            Peanut Bar

I have never heard it referred to as the Nut House, always the Peanut Bar.

If you are heading to it from Torre along the road to Orihuela you will pass the Ford Car showroom on the right hand side then the Ferreteria on the left.

After the Ferreteria take the left turn to head up into San Miguel.

As you climb the hill you will pass shops on the left, then as you are directed left you are virtually facing the Peanut Bar.

There is no name and you would pass it, if it was not for the red tables and chairs sitting on the Pavement.

As I said it is nothing fancy but has been adopted as a local by a number of ex pats.

            Regards

            Brickie

              The Nut House

Known locally by most as The Nut House -because it can be like that sometimes! And you are right the beer is free, but you pay for the nuts and crisps! Best kept "secret" around, but now every-one knows about it! I shall still use it though!
