White Goods

Has anyone purchased 'White Goods' from Carrefor if so what is the quality and aftersales service like. Also what about televisions and vidios?

Over a period of time I have purchased all my white goods from Carrefour, and I have never had a problem with any of them, I also bought my TV from there and it did have a very small crack on the casing, but they came out and changed it within a week.

If you look out for their advertising leaflets, they have some very good offers on every week.

T.V. Carrefour

I bought a flat screen LCD TV in Carrefour in January. I complained that the screen was leaning foward. They sent 2 men with a replacement, same problem! The store refunded my money with no quibble. I returned in May to see that the new improved version was on the shelf, I snapped it up right away...it was on offer @ 200 euros less than I paid in January. Happy days.

White goods from Carrefour are excellent though I would avoid their own Blue Sky Brand as they do not have a very good reputation. Twice I took that brand of Video Recorder back and eventually replaced it with a JVC.
Carrefour's biggest problem is that what they have on display may very well not be in stock. The larger goods they can whistle up pretty promptly to deliver, freezers etc, but, smaller goods not so good, for instance the replacement Video Recorder was one of only 3 makes they actually had available but they had about 18 makes and models on display.
