Your price is way under the resorthoppa to Benidorm is 10euros at the cheapest time the bus companies need make a profit as well.
So I'm afraid it wont be Costa Azul running the service, but a private company same as the resorthoppa running to the Costa Blanca North lets face it they have been attracting tourists for many decades now and it took nigh on 30 years to get a bus there.
The Costa Blanca South is a different kettle of fish not really a tourist area more residencial, and that seem to be the problem, most people visiting this end stay in private houses not hotels I can count the hotels between the airport and Torrevieja on my hands now as for the North enough said there are thousands of hotels, even folk from here go there for a break !!!!

Its great to see that some of the people who live here understand the difference between this area and the established holiday resorts in the Costa Blanca.
If it was a profitable route companies such as my own, resorthoppers and direct transfers as well as the local regular bus services would be queuing up to put this service on, as a matter of fact no licensed company can be refused a license or authority to supply a service on a route that is not serviced.
In regards to my own company, I have built it slowly and expanded the business yearly since it started by purchasing extra vehicles and employing more drivers, we offer an excellant service at a reasonable price taking into consideration service time and distances travelled and can see no reason to believe that we should change our strategy. Our experience tells us that we will never have enough vehicles to supply the demand at peak times, we could have 20 vehicles but would always need 21, over extending or massive expansion to compete with taxi or minbus touts would be the wrong thing to do.
