The biggest problem on the Costas is the uniformity of tackiness, abysmal service, and lack of real entertainment. Professionals in the industry concede that much.

Those who aren't fit for purpose will continue to blame the recession (and now smoking bans) for their woes. Tell them that despite the recession the nightlife of other European cities is buzzing and they just switch off. As for public transport issues my lips are sealed lest I be showered with abuse. None so deaf as those who will not hear.

Why are you so negitive ? Chill out and enjoy the experience of living in Spain.
In regards to public transport, your suggestions or requirements prove that you know nothing about the business be it as a public service or the feasibility of a service in your area and that is the reason you receive abuse so its best you say nothing.

Here Here Clydegrove one thing you can be sure of is a negative post from this chap he has nothing good to say about the area I dont know why he doesn't go back home if it is so crap here. The reason most of us came is the relxed way of life and I for one dont want to be entertained in a smoky bar I know of entertaines who dont want to work in a smoke filled atmosphere so bring on the ban and let the wasters go under
