I notice that the Banco Halifax is now offering two accounts. The one with a minimum of 600E and one called Xtra Account with no minimum balance required but it costs 25E a year. It also offers membership of a club which offers a range of services, for a fee. The Halifax in the UK tells me their Xtra account is now their most popular one. Would members agree with that or shall I go for the ordinary account ?
