can any one recommend where I can have spanish lessons after 6 in the evening or of a weekend?

I currently work from 9 until 6.30 each day and I am not able to attend lessons in the day which a lot of places have available.

    I would appreciate your help.

    Thank you

i have just booked some spanish lessons for myself. The course is run by a Charlie Calvo who is spanish , but speaks quite good English.
They take place at Playa Flamenca, near the shopping centre. The cost is 40 Euro's a month, which is 2 lessons a week (monday & Wednesday I think), which last 1 hour per lesson. So 40 Euro's for 8 hours a month. If you want his mobile number i can get it for you.

        hi sarah,
i apoligise for forgetting to put the times. The times are 7.15-8.15 at night.I think he runs 2 courses one for begineers and one intermediate, so they might be different times. His mobile number is 667218193.Also the classes sizes are usually 5-6 people.
        Ps. hopefully see you there.

            sarah,
are the start times still 7.15-8.15 monday & wednesday,as Charlie has not so far got back to comfirm these times with me.All he said to me was he would phone me about a week before the course starts, which he said would be the beginning of july?
I presume the course you are going on is for intermediates?

Sarah, I attend Charlie's intermediate class which is from 6-7pm 3 nights a week. You will be starting in his beginners class. Charlie is a very good teacher and I have certainly learnt a lot with him. I started off as a beginner 4 months ago and although his teaching methods are different they work.

Charlie (Carlos) Calvo - top man.

Spanish lessons are good, and if you have any youngsters, the nursery run by him and his wife is superb.

tried to telephone charlie today but telephone on answer machine...I have spoken to him this morning and he has confirmed the lesson for Monday so I will definately be there!!

I would however like to know more about the childrens classes that he runs. Does anyone know what time and the cost involved. My son is 10 years old and although he attends Mar Azul International school I am keen for him to continue his spanish studies through the holidays.

                          hi sarah,
I believe the children's classes are for pre-school and toddler groups. They are held at the same place where the spanish lessons are held. The ladies name is Lisa Butterworth, phone number 966773307/670706194.
Directions to get there are as follows:From Torrevieja go along the 332 towards la zenia, turn off at the roundabout for Lidl's supermarket. You come to another roundabout straightaway, go round roundabout, take 3rd turning off heading towards playa flamenca commercial center. When at commercial center entrance, its a house on the oppsite side of the road, with a sign that say's Mind your Language in the front garden.
