We have friends staying at Villamartin July/August and will not be hiring a car. Does anyone know if there is a bus service that runs to La Zenia beach?

Dont know the number but we believe there is only a bus that runs along the 332

It is a long walk but never seen anything that runs that way. hope there is for them.

There has been a bus that runs from Villamartin to the La Zenia roundabout to join up with the regular service into Torrevieja for each of the last 3 summers. It only runs in July and August and I don't know the number but it's THE ONLY bus you'll see in Villamartin.

Does it stop along the route? I have friends staying in my apartment in Los Dolses who won't be hiring a car but will definitely want to get to the beach.

there is a bus service which goes from Villamartin to La Zenia that runs July/August. If you go and see the lady at the tourist information at the council office in playa flamenca she may be able to give you the times as she did not have any printed 6 weeks ago.

Route Villamartin - Playa La Zenia, every hour from 10.00 to 14.00 and from 17.00 to 19.00
Route Playa La Zenia - Villamartin, every hour starting at 10.30 up to 14.30 and then from 17.30 to 19.30

Stops: CC Villa Golf; Valencia Sur; Verdemar; Sevillas; Los Dolses; La Zenia II; CC Consum; Playa La Zenia

Also a similar service Los Altos to Playa Flamenca at the same times.

Stops: Los Altos; El Mirador; La Florida; Al Andalus; El Horizonte; Flamingo Hills; Miraflores; CC Mercadona; Playa Estaca; Playa Flamenca

Sorry, but no. I would presume that it would leave from outside the square, as that is the place where parking a bus for a few minutes would cause the most congestion

I'm in Spain from Friday onwards for a few weeks so if I find out I'll post the answer. I also need to know where it stops at Los Dolses as that is where guests staying at my apartment would catch it from.

I am at los altos on the new road.

is there a bus which goes form anywhere near there into torrevieja? perhaps along the 332? and does anyone know where it stops.

also the bus referred to which goes from Los Altos to Playa Flamenca - does anyone know where the stop is is Los Altos?

I have seen buses in the summer outside the Consum (los altos), and I think they go to P.Flamenca. Buses to town, I believe go from down by Maxicoop. I have not yet used the buses........will have a bash one day!!!

Buses

I used the service from Los Altos to Town in May and it runs every hour (half past the hour from Los Altos). The bus shelter is just off the main road if you travel down the road from the Consum heading to the Maxcoop it is the third street on your left hand side and the bus stop is just around the corner but out of site of the main road. The bus shelter had a very clear timetable and the bus ran to time and was a very good service. The service is circular so you just get back on where you got off and it takes you back up to Los Altos.

I understand that the bus to Playa Flamenca leaves from just accross the road from Via Park III but there is no bus stop to speak of and no obvious timetable.
