Help with filling in a NIE form

Hope someone can help me!

Ive just had an offer accepted on a property in Torrevieja and understand that I need to get a NIE number ASAP!!

I have downloaded the forms from the internet and will be taking them to Spring Gardens in Manchester....but only after I have filled them in!

Can anyone help with an English translation???

Thanks. Your advice with the NIE form is very helpful. I am thinking of taking the form to the Spanish Consulate in London so that I avoid queuing and wasting a day in Cartagena. I need some further help.
The advice on the consulate website says the following:-

http://www.mir.es, click on "Extranjeros", "Modelos de Solicitud" and download form "NIE para residentes en el extranjero - EX-14 bis". This form is in Spanish.

Please note that the address in both paragraphs of the form should be an address in Spain.

It is the last point that I don't quite understand. They say that the address in both paragraphs should be an address in Spain.

I don't understand Spanish very well but it looks to me that section 4 is asking for a contact address. I was going to give my address in the UK.

Could you clarify please.

section 4 must be an address in spain.eg solicitor,agent,friend etc.most people in london the day i went made the same mistake and it was a good job i was carrying 15 extra forms as every one had to fill theirs out again.be prepared for a wait;they were queuing on the stairs the day we went and they shut at 2.00pm.all in all a pleasant experience with a weekend to follow in london.
