Can I buy an english size mattress anywhere in Torrevieja?

Probably not, we could not even get english sized pillows for our bed. The one supplied with our double bed was a bolster(old fashioned one piece item). As I have neck problems I need my own pillows and struggled to find any locally, the spanish lady in one of the local shops looked quite quizical when her english speaking assistant asked her if she could get any and described what they were like. In the end we managed to get a couple on the local market in Almoradi.

There is a shop that sells only English sized bedding materials located at the top of Calle Appollo.
I can't remember if they sell mattresses but they definitely sell English sized sheets, pillow cases and etc.
You can't miss the shop. It is located on the right hand side of the street as you walk up from the sea front, quite close to Avinedez de las Cortes de Valencia, and is adorned with uninon jacks of all sizes.

We got a king size mattress (5' wide )from TorreGrosa, Ramon Gallud, Torrevieja, I think you will find they have all sizes there. We also got our english size pillows from Carrefour

Have you tried the Bedspecialist in La Zenia. That's were we bought ours.

I bought the mattress, had some foam cut to size and put the lot in a mattress cover. You would never know the difference.
