Hi, great site, 1st time i've used it. we have bought a property in Quesada due for completion Sept/Oct this year, We viewed through Bravo Spanish Estates Scotland and Casablanca estates in Spain. Our builders are Euromarina, has anyone any experiences they can share with us, Good or Bad!!!

Hello Allison

We bought on Quesada in March 2004 we were given a date of Sept 2005 for completion, surprise surprise. We have now been given a new date of 25th January 2006, we are not holding our breath. Depends who you speak to will depend on their response, so many stories, good and bad, but like all things bad news gets more of an airing than good, but I must say completion dates with some builders are a joke and I suppose other builders adhere to them pretty well.

Hi thanks for replying, which builder are you using? and where is your property, we are in dona pepa 11 and when we were over in May of this year, we were told it may be ready sooner, but our problem is in trying to find out 'what happens next'!

If you or anyone else can give us any pointers as to how you overcame the communication issues, we would be grateful.

We bought a resale in quesada in preference to a new build. We move over permanently at the end of August....can't wait.

good luck with your new homes, I know from experience how much new builds are frought with angst.

Perhaps we should start a... 'new to Quesada club'..

Good idea, "new to Quesada Club" I would be happy to join you. Your lucky Jessi I wish now in the "blinding light of hindsight" we had purchased re-sale, never mind, we will get there at some point. We will next be over in October so by then you will be well and truley into the lifestyle. Where abouts are you on Quesada?

Hi Allison, Jesse, Roy and Val
I think I am 'the friend' Roy and Val referred to who has recently purchased on Dona Pepa ll. I moved in June 2004, three months earlier than scheduled. If you need any help or advise Allison please feel free to email me on hawley1@gotadsl.co.uk. I am in the UK (on holiday) at the moment, am I stupid or what, where is the sunshine....??
As for Euromarina I would consider them to be one of the best builders to deal with in the area. Buying off plan is always fraught with problems mine being that the finished article bore no resemblance to the show house but it has grown on me and I love it there now. Snagging list completed with no big hassles maybe I was just lucky!
