Does anybody know what happened to the Free Monthly Campo Magazine????It had the best jokes i have heard in a long time.It just stopped appearing every month,and nobody seems to know anything!!!

Probably just another casualty of the recession, crash, depression or whatever it is, failing businesses can't afford to advertise in these freebie magazines at the moment.

where is Campo magazine

I was a franchise holder for the Orihuela area from September 2008 until May 2009, as the previous person said the econonomic climate was to blame for our demise. I had expanded into the Torrevieja area , but found I could not get enough advertisers to make it a viable business, so I had to walk away and lost a lot of money. The banks would not lend us money and a lot of the businesses I hoped to advertise with me were closing too.

My area was incorporated into the Elche and Hondon edition of the magazine, but the owner( Maureen) appears to have had the same problem as me. I think she must have walked away too, leaving the franchise owner nothing but debt.

It was a very popular magazine which is why I bought into it originally, but world events took over and the rest is history.

I beleive some of the advertisers and a few jokes might be in the Jungle Drums magazine

Yes it has long gone.

The Inland Magazine (TIM) is still going strong - and in spreading to Torrevieja in hard copy but it also appears online here

I usually leave some in the Alzheimers shop (behind the church) and I have seen it in San Miguel. Lots around in La Marina.
