Blanket factory visits

It does seem to absorb the perspiration in summer although I would certainly not be able to stand a merino blanket on top as well as under in the hottest two or three months.

Blanket Trips

Could be wrong, as I was only half listening as I knew I would not be buying, but I am pretty sure that the demonstrator lady at the factory said that these blanket were imported from the UK. ???

We went on a blanket trip last Easter near Benidorm and we were shown all sorts of sheepskin blankets, pillows, matresses and they are all made in Birmingham. I ordered a sheepskin pillow and it was made and delivered in UK. We were told that you could not buy direct from the UK without first placing an order in Spain??? It was a good trip though with a visit to a Bodega in Altea and then 5 hours in Benidorm.

I suppose it depends which company. The ones I went on certainly seemed to make stuff out here in Spain.

I saw a flyer advertising visits to a blanket factory. Can anyone give me any more details of this. My house is between San Javier and Murcia. Is there any thing near me? Has anyone been on one othese visits - are they worthwhile?

While I am on the subject of factory shops I was wondering whether other readers of the forum have details of factory shops? Someone told me that there are a number of furniture factory shops in Yecla.
