Skuba Diving/Snorkelling

Hi

I have recently purchased a property on the Altos De La Bahia complex and will be bringing the family over during August, the coast line we have seen does not have many coves for swimming/snorkelling can anyone advise if there are bays/coves within a reasonable location of La Mata.
We would also like to explore inland and would ask for help on places of interest.

We swam at Portman last week and the water looks promising as there are quite a few crabs, small fish and the odd octopus. We are giving it a go with a snorkel at the weekend.
