Monday 30 August 2010 was the final day for tenders to be submitted by interested parties to construct the new Fairgrounds, Concert area, car parks and market zone for Torrevieja.

Just having returned from Torrevieja after 3 weeks break, part of holidaying with children is the Funfair, stalls and general
atmosphere it creates, all within walking distance of appts.it adds to the holiday so much, I wonder what will the seafront and promonade area have to offer when this is moved, will it mean having to travel by taxi with children and buggys and where is the new area to be located. I presume that a lot of the restaurants and bars will be effected by this move
anyone any comments. Not only holiday makers but the general population as well will be affected. Can you imagine what that area will be like from November to April when funfair and all the stalls have been moved. If it works dont try and fix it
