Can anyone help. We were taken to a restaurant that resembles the inside of a ship. Does anyone know where it is. I sort of think it may be in the La Mata area, but could be totally wrong.
It's called Barlovento at Cabo Cervera. On the coast road by the Torro Del Morro turn down the hill, past the Atlas Hotel on the right, it is under the last block of appartments on the right before you get to the beach.
From the directions given I think that the Barlovento at Cabo Cervera sounds favourite. We too were taken there on our house seeking trip, and if my memory serves me right there was a tank in the middle of the restaurant with live lobsters crawling around!
We too were taken to a ship restaraunt with Prestige. Were you with the same company and did it all go well as we are buying off plan and it seems a long time to wait.
Yes we went their with Prestige, about Dec 2002. Bought in a partially constructed state with a projected completion date of 30th June 2003. We got the keys on 7th July, just one week late. But.... by the sound of many things posted on this forum, we've been more in the minority.
Steve B it is called Natilus just for the record and my late father used to love a brandy sitting outside watching the sea, talking now over 15 years ago but is pleasant not sure if this was the one that was meant in this thread
The only Nautilus I know, and sounds like the one you're on about is at Punta Prima. Lovely position to sit and watch out to sea though, and take a stroll to / from.
Sorry for the delay in replying. We bought back in November 2001 with local agents Euroanglosur taking us to this restaurant. We bought off plan and apart from a small delay in completion everything went like clockwork, and we have had very enjoyable holidays for the last couple of years.
Thanks for reassurance. Was told doubts would arise when we returned home. We have a long wait until late next year but pleased to hear from two of you that things went to plan.
The Spanish crime stories were off putting but the papers here are full of the same just that we are in a quiet area and the worse we have had is a car taken from the drive one afternoon.
Never heard of gassing and hire cars targeted but just as well to be aware of all things. Hope the police can get on top of it not like in UK where you are just given a number and no one calls round anymore. Biggest criminals here are the motorists going by the amount of tax we pay and speed cameras galore.
Do you have road tax in Spain?
