  • CATTERIES IN GUARDARMAR/TORREVIEJA AREA?

When we move to Spain we are thinking we will fly our 5 cats over (I know it's expensive), leave them in a local cattery for 5/6 days, fly back on a cheapie flight and then drive down to Spain with a 7.5 tonne van, either getting the ferry to Santander or driving through France. Haven't decided yet. Two people will be driving down with us, help us with unloading have a couple of day's rest then drive back.

We, therefore, need recommendations for a good cattery (or a vet as I understand they will have animals at round 4 euros per night. I presume that's for one cat. Does anyone know how much 5 cats would be per night for a vet to have them or a cattery? We are moving to Daya Vieja about 9 kms in from Guardarmar.

Cheaper maybe, but not easier for 5 cats to be cooped up in a van for 2/3 days scared to death of the noise etc. !!!

        Cattery

My friend has just started a cattery in the San Pedro del Pinatar area - I don't know if that is too far away. Give her a call on 968 174 078

Feline friends cat hotel in Dolores is excellent - my cats have stayed there twice now and I was more than happy with it.

Lovely staff, really peaceful and very reasonably priced. They also offer free pick ups and drop offs.

Speak to Richard or Jan on 96 596 7081 or 665080152
