Hello, good to see morbob a few weeks ago, missed alfromba man by a few days but maybe next time.Anyone know if the pools been filled yet ?

I think the pool at the top of our 2 streets is more likely to be filled before the one behind you. They turned a little hole in the ground into being ready to be tiled within a week.

I was up at Block 1 today, and they were pressure-washing the pool in behind (if you know where I mean!). Would think water is imminent!!

It's at the bottom of the hill, the house is just on the roundabout where all the rubbish is (lovely!!) and where they are building something enormous. The pool is just in behind the houses there, it is kind of squarish I guess. You have to go right round the back of the houses to get to it.

I know, I know, clear as mud!!!

Thanks Debbie Is your house in bloque 1? That big thing by the way is an ApartHotel. The rubbish on the corner is what they moved from the back of the flats that Ian is wanting to be finished. No doubt they will move it somewhere else eventually.
Spark its the pool at the back of your house not the one at the top of the street.
my friends children will be pleased if they do fill it with water because they are coming out on 11th.

Morbob / Spark
I go back out on Friday to make sure the wife and dog haven't shrivelled up in the heat. She has been complaining that its too hot !!!! maybe she should be back in the UK to see the rain and cold we have been suffering.
I will check up on the pool situ plus anything else that is relevant and post details on my return in about a fortnight. That is of course if we dont get lost on our drive back up through France and Belgium.

Villa1 , cant wait that long ! , get yourself down to the internet cafe at Rioja & log on.We have some people in our place for the next 2 weeks so no doubt you will see them.

Spark - I'll try to find access to the Internet somewhere, but can't promise. My expectation however is that if the builders don't work during August (too hot) we will be lucky to have our pool ready for use by Sept. When you and Bob back out ? Dont mention footie to Bob though bad result for the Toon last night !!

Villa 1 , not back until October probably,but someone will be there almost every week until then ! Got a message today from housekeepers that the pool is not done ;-( , good news though, got the AC done .
