What is the empadronamiento?
‘Empadronamiento’ doesn’t mean you’re pregnant so don’t sit there worrying thinking you may have to get up the duff as part of ‘living the dream.’ What it refers to is the process of registering with your community’s padrón (town register), which is the official record of all the people who live in a particular community and is the only way to register your stay in Spain. Anyone know if you can still get your Padron renewed at the tourist information offices or has this stopped, And do you have to go down town again. In Torrevieja.
