Using British car in Spain

I understand that it is possible to use a British car in Spain as long as it is legal on the roads in the UK.......that is it has a current M.O.T. certificate, road tax, insurance etc. Is this correct?

If you are non-resident, you are allowed to drive your English car in Spain but for no more than six months.
