changing use of a building

Can someone tell me what is involved in the above for example the procedure and the costs, what type of buildings are likely to be passed etc.


I am looking at purchgasing a building of which is either commercial and business already in place but to change the use/business

Or to buy a residential dwelling and convert to business use.

The unanimity of all the owners is required in order to change the use of a house from commercial to residential and vice versa.

The change of use of a component of a building can be done whenever there is no expressed prohibition on the New Construction Deeds, the Horizontal Division or the rules of the community of owners.

In addition to the above, you will need to obtain a permission from the Town Hall of the city where the house is located.
